Osaka, Japan

Osaka Japan @ 3Days 2 Nights

Day 1
We started of the day with a blazing hot summer morning In Japan. Our face are feel with excitement as we are going to pay a visit to the landmark of Osaka.

The journey from the bus stop to the landmark building takes around 1 hour , along the way there’s a lot of sakura tree but it’s not autumn so we didn’t get the chance to experience the beauty of it. As we approach the place, the strong and mighty building stands before us, we cant help ourselves but to take plenty of pictures to capture the moment and leave a memory.

After visiting the landmark building of Osaka, we took the bus and headed over to the biggest and longest shopping street in Osaka, Tenjinbashisuji Shotengai, aka shopping street. We only had 1hour and half to walk this street, which I feel like is insufficient, the length of the street is 2.6km, imagining you had to walk from end to end to shop. Indeed I would like to have more time to shop around but our journey must continue.

Next off, we went to a winery museum where they show us the traditional history and methods to make Japanese rice wine. It’s an eye opening experience but personally I wish I would have spend more time shopping rather than visiting museums. After the visit, we went back to our hotel to get some good night rest.

Day 2
We had a free and easy afternoon so we head over to the nearest shopping mall to had our lunch and we saw this big ferris wheel (HEP five ferris wheel) the mall is named HEP Five mall near the harbour.

After that, we took the tour bus and head down to Osaka Tenmangu shrine to pray and receive blessing on a safe journey throughout the japan journey.

Osaka Temmangu Shrine is the most famous of all the many Tenjin shrines located throughout Japan. Fondly called Tenjin-san, every July it hosts the Tenjin Matsuri, Osaka's most fabulous festival, when gorgeous fireworks dazzle the crowds of worshipers and onlookers. Tenjin Matsuri is one of the three great festivals of Japan. This is an excellent boating event, featuring beautiful dolls believed to have been created in around 1690. A total of 14 dolls are preserved as ethnological artifacts of Osaka Prefecture.

Day 3
We started off the day early in the morning to catch the bullet train. The iconic bullet train is the japan workforce main source of transport to move from the suburbs of the the city to the city area for work. Usually it will be overcrowded but since it’s a weekend, we were fortunate to avoid squeezing with the workers.

We took a 2 hour journey from Osaka to lake Ashinokohe. The lake with Mount Fuji in the background is the symbol of Hakone.

the best views of the lake in combination with Mount Fuji can be enjoyed from Moto-Hakone (a few steps south from the sightseeing boat pier), from the Hakone Detached Palace Garden and from the sightseeing boats cruising the lake.

After the cruise trip, we made our journey to Tokyo.
The content will be continue on the next post. Stay tuned!!!!!!!!!! 😊
