Hua Hin, Thailand @ 3 Days 2 Nights
A Long Distance Journey
Day
1:
We
departed from KLIA 2 to Don Mueang, Bangkok. When arrived, we went to Hua Hin
by van and it took arounf 2 hours and 50 minute from airport to our hotel which
call Asara Villa & Suite.
After
settled down, we proceed to Hua Hin Hills Vineyard and it took around 60
minutes from our hotel.
It
has surrounded by magnificent mountains. And it is a part of Siam Winery’s
vision to bring wine culture to Thailand. We also experienced the exciting
lifestyle of new latitude wines. Although the main product that they produce
are wine, but they also produce grape juice with nice taste, raisins, fruit
ice-cream and etc. You also can enjoy mountain view while drinking a glass of
wine.

After
finished my ice-cream, we went to Chatsila & Chatchai Night Market and took
around 60 minutes as well.
The
Chatchai market is about 2 blocks in length with a plenty of things that will
keep you distracted along the way and it second half of the market is FULL of
seafood stalls brimming with people. After a big meal, you also can enjoy
street food around the market like dried squid tentacles and it was very chewy.
The Chatsila market is adjoined to the Chatchai market. There are totally
different between the two markets. The design of the Chatsila is in pristine
white with organised stores under a roofed complex. Both located at (Hua Hin,
Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand)
Day
2:
Breakfast
as usual, ate at hotel. Next, we visited Santorini Park, it took 40 minutes to
reach there.
The
admission fees is 50 Baht/person. Santorini Park is an amusement park where
shopping, art and food are integrated. Because of the blue sashes on top, it
lit up the place almost mimicking a cheery blue sky. And we also settled our
tea time there. This is the destination for a person who like to take photos.

After
visited, we proceed to Swiss Sheep Farm and it just took 5 minutes (the shorter
distance in this trip)
This
farm is along with the Santorini Park and it was surrounded by the touches of
styles from European country. The farm also has a herd of New Zealand sheep, a
Dutch windmill, an English telephone booth or even a love lock bridge. Besides,
it is the place where has many pictures opportunities! The price itself is
reasonable too: 120 Baht for adult and 60 Baht for Children.

After
visited all those animals, we went to Huay Mongkol Temple where took 30 minutes
from farm to temple.
It
is the temple of Luang Phor Thuad, a famous monk in Thailand. The statue, which
is about 12 meters high and 10 meters wide, is set on a large mound. All the
visitors come to here are pay respect to him and ask foe luck, health, fortune
and happiness. And on each site of the statue, there is a wooden elephant,
normally, people will walk in circles with 9 times in order to get luck. The
address is Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand
After
that we proceed to Sam Phan Nam Floating Market to have our lunch.
The
market has about 200 stalls in an area and a huge lake takes the centerstage in
the market. Actually I'm not going to suggest this destination, because i
prefer more on the next floating market that I mention later.
Next,
we went to Plearn Wan Eco Village and it took 20 minutes from floating market.
This
Eco Village has NO admission fee and there is not big enough, but this is the
place that photographers like a lot and it is just for leisure sightseeing. The
village has provided a place for visitors to play with the lifestyle of 50’s –
60’s while appreciating the beauty of history, art and culture. It
located between Hua Hin soi 38 and 40, opposite Klai Klangwon Palace
Opening
Hours: Monday – Thursday10 am – 10 pm
Friday from 10 am – midnight
Saturdays
from 9 am – noon
Sundays from 9 am – 10 pm
After
that we visited Cicada Night Market at Hua Hin where took 20 minutes to arrive
as well.
It
is not open daily and just open for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The market is
very structured, because it differentiates the food and drink zone, performing
zone and peddle zone, all the stuff that they sell are unique, because most of
them are handcraft. The specialty of this market is when you get tired, you can
sit down and relax while listening the music that people there performed. Below

Day
3:
Breakfast
as usual, after that we went to the famous Hua Hin Railway Station. From Hotel
to Railway Station took 13 minutes.
It
is indeed Thailand’s most beautiful railway station, it was began with the
construction in year 1968. The Royal Waiting Room is the main feature for
welcome King and his court when they were visiting the town.
The
last place to go before we went to airport and go back home was Damnoen Saduak
Floating Market. It took around 2 hours to arrive.
This
is the most famous floating market in Thailand, and the colourfully clad
merchants at these markets paddle along congested canals in sturdy canoes laden
with a huge variety of vegetables and fruit to sell. Besides, there is lots of
chatter and activity, and bargaining is common there and it was fun, but please
don’t get down the price more than a few bath, because their money not easy to
earn. Their food was tasty and fruits were juicy, especially their Bihun Soup
was delicious and you have to eat on board. haha
This
Hua Hin trip was quite time-consumed, because the distance was far from one
destination to another. The one thing that I can’t forget is we went to Damnoen
Saduak Floating Market. Because when I was on boat, I always feel that I will
overboard in the next second.
